Meet Misha, our March Spotlight Athlete! Misha came to CFRS in September 2022 as a Personal Training Athlete working to become a Firefighter. Prior to joining the gym, she was living day-to-day without any specific fitness goals or motivation. As Misha puts it, “my health and fitness level was very poor,” and she knew that in order to achieve her dreams of becoming a Firefighter, she needed to start somewhere.
After her Free Consultation, Misha realized Nutritional Coaching and Personal Training was the best, and fastest, way to kick start her fitness journey. Coach Marissa sat down with her and came up with a game plan that not only got her moving well in Personal Training sessions, but helped Misha get on track nutritionally to fuel her body for her new fitness routine. Misha’s dedication and drive has led her to not only lose 16 pounds, but gain more energy and build confidence as an Athlete where she now loves any workout that includes a barbell.
Misha credits Coach Marissa for keeping her in check during her workouts and for helping her stay focused on her goals. “Not only is she an amazing trainer, but I’ve also gained a friendship with her. She creates an uplifting and positive atmosphere making the gym my favorite place to be!”
When asked what she’d tell people considering joining CFRS, Misha says, “just do it and you will not regret it! The gym is more than a business, it’s family and I’m so happy to be a part of it!” In addition to doing Personal Training, you can now find Misha as part of our Saturday morning Group Classes motivating other Athletes to be their best version of themselves!
